You may wonder, what is the real estate investor’s myth? I will start by asking you a question? Why did you get into real estate investing, or what ever business you are in, was it because you wanted to work long hours and wanted to create another job for yourself? Or was it because you like the idea of being an entrepreneur that owns a business that even though you worked long hours at the beginning, your know that your ultimate goal is to put it into “automatic pilot” so you can eventually retire or go on with your life and do other things? And, still have a business that will provide you with passive income and other investment opportunities that will keep on coming for the rest of your life and beyond? More likely the answer to both questions is a resounding "Yes."

For new investors like myself possible "purchase paralysis", or just not completely being confident that this endeavor that requires thousands of dollars is actually going to work is partially the issue. I believe with some teaching, information, and personalized mentorship by investors who successfully overcome some of the same obstacles is key to the faint at heart and eventual success.

A lot of people start this business with a lot of enthusiasm (it is a fantastic business) then they hit one or more roadblocks such as lack of money, or not able to find properties, then they stop and get frustrated. Any body care about commenting why this is?

As a real estate investor-whether you think you are a business owner or not that is indifferent. You still have to treat real estate investments as a business
