The Entrepreneur Jarrod Haning has combined 2 college degrees, performing experience with 12 professional orchestras, 24 years of musical studies and over 20,000 hours of practice into a series of transformational talks entitled What Musicians Know.
His undergraduate degree is from Texas Tech University. And his graduate degree is from the University of South Carolina where he held a graduate assistantship. He currently serves the South Carolina Philharmonic in the following roles: Interim Principal Viola, the Players Committee, and the Conductor Search Committee. He plays viola with the Sterling Garden Chamber Players, who hold quarterly concerts in a very unique setting. He plays violin with a church band, and thoroughly enjoys improvisation and jazz. When he was teaching privately, his studio saw 50 students a week.
In addition to his musical pursuits he has started 3 successful companies over the past 15 years. Custom Brush Works was a painting company in Lubbock, TX that provided contract work for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Western Properties LLC was a full service residential reconstruction company in Columbia, SC that produced several happy customers with picturesque finished projects. Western Properties LLC changed its direction in 2003 and has focused on Real Estate investments nationwide for the past 5 years. As a result of nationwide investing experience he was featured on ABC Nightline in 2007. Currently he is offering Real Estate seminars to teach others how to do the same.
He is a licensed Realtor, Residential Builder, Pilot, and Skydiver. (you don’t have to be licensed to play the viola in public, but you should be)
